One type of action-slide for 870?

Acquired an old wingmaster 870 but its missing the action-slide. Is there a difference in any of the slides from the past(older) models compared to current production 870s? thanks.

Yes. The Express models are bead blasted, the Wingmaster models are polished and blued, and I think the SuperMag versions are different too. But, I know any fore end tube assembly but one from a SuperMag will work. SuperMag might too, just don't know.
And it's $45 from Remington.

Yes, the pre-Flex Tab slides are different (number of notches where the slide meets the action bars). However, if you order the part in the link you posted you should be fine as you are getting both halves of what has changed.

The Remington one also comes with the slide for the reason noted.

So that action slide I posted will work? As long as it comes with the updated slide that can fit the two bars it should be good to go. No replacement of the entire bolt?

Replacing the bolt is not necessary. There was a change to the bolt that came with the flex tab conversion but it will not prevent you from using a pre-flex tab bolt on the new slide and forearm.
