You need the 7 5/8" slide tube and nut. Some folks call it a 7 1/2"....some a 7 3/4". It's a 7 5/8".

Rule of thumb on Mossy forearms....if it doesn't say diff, it's a 7 5/8". That was and still is the standard length aftermarket forearm. Newer Mossy's have the shorter 6 1/2" tube and there's a few makers here and there making furniture for them now, but the standard is still 7 5/8".

That slide tube is going to run you $25+ and the forearm is another $40 on Brownell's ($25 or so on Midway I believe). Have you considered simply switching to a Mav 88 corncob forearm? Or was that the one you wanted to replace?

I used Numrich to get mine. I had the exact same problem (except I went with a Hogue forend).

Anyhow, it's e-gunparts.com. I got the Action Slide Tube, and the nut.

RandKL was a lot of help

Well, I appreciate that, Bill! Just glad you got the part you needed. Those used to be common on all the sales sites, even Ebay. So many folks are wanting them now the supply has just dried up in a lot of locales.

Be safe, sir!
