Online AK dealers

does anyone know any good online dealers for AKs?

i just want a standard wood furniture AK-47 stamped reciever is fine
7.62x39 as usual

this ones going into the collection so it doesnt have to be a great shooter
yes it will be shot just not for HD or competition or anything like that

i find them localy but they tend to be overpriced something about the local shops thinking they havemore than they really do ive seen WASRs be as high as 800 or more with nothing but 1 magazine

one last question
whats with some AKs haveing single stack magazines? ive seen alot of adds for those and i could have sworn that AKs are double stacks

Look at either classicarms.us or atlanticfirearms.com , both have a large number of AK variants for reasonable prices, if you want cheaper then look at Classic Arms first as they mostly stock Century products (WASR 10s). Both sites also sell Wolf 7.62x39 by the 1000rnd case.

I personally think the Egyptian AK from Atlantic Firearms looks like a really good deal. As far as the single stack AK's, I believe they're something like Romanian civilian versions imported to the U.S., they have a single stack 10 round mag, they can be widened to accept double stack, that's what Century Arms does to them.

ive been getting a good chuckle out of 475. atlantic and classic seem quality. will go through them when the time comes for another AK.

yea that was my thoughts too Acceptable but the only shops around here that stock them think AKs are all the same and they generaly are collectable firearms dealers not true gunshops so even the WASR gets high price tags

theres a new shop that sells AKs but i dont really trust the guy running the shop he quoted me a price on a taurus 1911 and it was higher than where i ended up buying it
long story short i went back in his shop to get magazines if he had any and he threw a fit that i got the gun somewhere else and that he could have undercut the other guys price
i figure if he could have undercut the price he shoulda quoted me better in the first place
same guys also said he could find me a certain revolver ive been looking for but never got off his duff to do so... so i dont really want to give him any business

hmmm maybe ill get my AK transfered through him thatll burn him up pretty good lol
