Lets say you wanted to order some ammo online in the next couple of days.

Where would be the best bet for the following.

Target loads, and must be re-loadable brass.

1000rds of each:

.38
.357
.45
.233 (if available)
9mm

I'm confused.... what's happening in the next few days that I don't know about?

Or are you just asking in general where to order ammo online?

If you're interested in buying by the case, and notably Speer Gold Dot: Mirage Technologies is the place to go. I think the site is floridabullet.net or something. You have to call for pricing.

ETA: Target loads.... I see. Take a look at Speer Lawman clean-burning target loads at the Mirage Technology site. Not only are the cases reloadable, but they practically don't need to be cleaned before repriming and reloading

The Speer Lawman line should have all of the calibers you want.

oh ok..... same old stuff I guess.

didn't they say/do the same around the same time last year?

.223

Hey Folks; Wal-mart has .223 sale going on. .29 cents per round.
Don't have a .223; just passing along info.

Walmart has 44 Magnum $5.00 per box, was $28.00 and still has 5 boxes left near me, but I don't shoot the stuff. They also had 9mm for $1.50 per box, but as you can guess they were all sold out or I would have maxed out my CC that day and bought every last one. I was so sad that day and could only ask myself why I didn't go there a few days/weeks earlier.

I'm buying my ammo in October or early next year, after the prices go down.
keep the demand up gents...get your fill and stop buying it. It works out great for the rest of us.

From what I hear, most manufactures are raising prices about 15% on September 1st. That might not mean much on a typical box of 22 shells, but if you buy 22 target ammo, it might mean as much as a dollar per box increase. The increase I believe will be more for some calibers. I don't expect ammo prices to drop with the relatively weak dollar and continued world demand for metals on the commodity market. Frankly, I would not be surprised to see more increases between September and January, but things get scheduled about every 3 months.

Wish I could raise my prices to match the ammo price increases.

It's already gone up 100% over the last couple years.
I'm hoping they are doing this to squeeze every last dollar out of the current demand surge over the ammo shortage/pricing bruhaha, then it'll drop. Usually demand falls when prices increase but it's doing the opposite with ammo.

I beat the deadline and my email tells me that I have 237 pounds of 8mm and 7.62X54R ammo arriving tomorrow via UPS. Come 2 September I'll probably wish I'd bought more.
