I posted this over on Northeastshooters.com but I figured with the large member base here that there must be some people who know of sites that sell to MA.

If anyone knows would you mind PM/Emailing me some sites? Please don't post them up in this thread (unless you just want to comment/berate me, then that's fine).

Got a little pissed tonight when I tried to place an order through midway tonight and at the very last step it rejected my order. Did a little searching and found that most places won't sell to MA. Grrrr...it's just one stupid thing after another in this state.

Thanks in advance,
Dope

I'm surprised midway rejected your order, I've ordered several times and I live in MA as well, never had a issue.

What were you trying to buy? The only thing I have had some trouble with was ammo. Some ammo sellers will not ship to MA. I order from Brownells, and others all the time without issue.

Yes, I was trying to buy ammo, sorry that I didn't mention that in the first place :)

They won't ship any ammo or ammo component to MA. The MA AG requires that you have and present a valid MA FID/LTC to buy ammunition or ammunition components. Since they cannot check your permit online they cannot sell it to you. Apparently they used to and the AG harassed them enough that they will no longer sell to people with MA addresses.

Yes, I'm aware of that but I'm also aware that there are retailers who will still sell to MA (probably requires a copy of your LTC first), I was wondering if anyone would give me a few addresses to try.

Thanks,
Dope

Write letters to your state Reps, when I was living in Mass I did and found it effective. I don't think enough gun owners in Mass do this, so their reps vote against gun measures because they do not think that they have any gun owners in their voting area. I feel your pain seriously, it was so frustrating that handgun purchases are so limited because of Harshbarger and Oriely BS.

Write gun makers and let them know that there is a strong gun market and that they need to make Mass compliant guns. Ruger, Beretta and Sig do, so they are missing out on a market since they do not have compliant pistols.

what did you try to get from midway?
mags or ammo, no they wont.

parts they should. i got Mag and recoild springs and 2 bushing wrenches just a few weeks ago

oh and Gov Patrick is trying to get a bill passed to limit 1 purchase a month and "stricter punishment for school zones" AKA send the constructive members of society to jail and let the scum back to the streets

no. the AG reguires companys to have an ammo sales license. and says that a internet/mailorder/ cross boarder sale is still subject to MA law

plenty of places, like AIM require proof of age/license for ammo. but still wont ship to MA. while the AG would probibly never win in any honest, decent court ( as few as those are these days) its not worth the hassle
