MOS 2531 from 1974 through 1979, active and reserve.
Most of my time spent in 1st MARBDE, HQ Company, Regt; later 2/3, K-bay, Hawaii.
Last six months of my hitch spent with 3rd Tanks at Stumps.
A couple of years with a reserve engineer battalion at Swan Island, PDX.

Semper Fi, all. I enlisted in the Marines in April of 1968. After two trips
"down South" (Viet Nam) and a few months in the hospital recovering from
two trips down south, the Marine Corps decided they couldn't afford me and my medical bills any more, so the cut me loose in May of 1970.
My active duty was short, but I'm still a Marine at heart.
