I heard a lot of shooting every day I was hunting. I think several people were doing some late sighting in of new rifles, since that was a new thing this year.

Duck season? (wabbit season!)

I was out on the porch feeding my dogs last week at 6:35 am and it sounded like someone was doing a reenactment of a battle from the War of Northern Aggression... I thought it was a deer massacre - turns out it was guys hunting ducks down in the swamp.
