I have a 550b and the operating rod keeps creeping to the right out of the hole in the bracket. This causes the rod to slip out of the groove in the Primer Slide Roller and hence the primer slide is not feeding primers.

Any suggestions on how I can prevent the operating rod from slipping out of the hole in the brack

Loosen the clamp and slightly rotate it so
that the angle is appropriate all the way down.

I had same issue a while back.

Internet lore suggests the 90 degree bend at the top is not quite 90 degrees.
If you bend it slightly more it should work itself in, rather then out.

Also, does the end of the bend project through the bracket enough you could put a tight O-Ring on the end, or a piece of heat shrink tubing or something.

Could you peen the end slightly??

All else fails, call Dillon and have them send you a new rod.
