Bob's correct. It is often more expensive to buy a standard product in the country of manufacture than import them into the U.S. so check your prices.

Maybe a better selection there?Well, it's cheaper to buy Marston's IPA in the US, but in a London pub it just tastes better (trust me on this!)... After all, we are talking about a lowly Opinel, not a bespoke laguiole knife - how much more can it cost?

Prices appear to be quite reasonable.
That was easy here, my wife hardly ever does the dishes...Speedo.... please, please keep wooden handled knives out of your dishwasher.... Wood and dishwashers don't play well together (now if I could just convince my wife of that....).
Thanks, that's the info I needed. Been a while (decades) since I've had wooden handled kitchen knives. I'll just look around for more Victorinox, used to find them for a few bucks at gun shows, but haven't seen any in like forever.Speedo.... please, please keep wooden handled knives out of your dishwasher.... I'm also a great fan of Opinels especially the Carbon steel series.I cut up my lunch yesterday with my clean carbon Opinel 8. I wiped the blade with my napkin and washed it when I got home, but it was already showing "patina". I feel like I am really getting With It.
