Am considering purchase of SP 101, 2 1/4 barrel, in 38 spcl. Has Trijicon Front Night sight, Butler Creek Boot grips, Don Hume crossdraw holster, Wolff calibration spring pack, HK speedloader, and a dump pouch. Has less then 200 rounds fired. Guy wants $300.00 for it. What do ya think?

BiXLL: With all that extra stuff and only 200 rds. thru it..........I
would jump on that deal!

My only concern is, how old is the Trij? Tritium has a "half life" of what, 10 years? If they've been on there 5 or more years, they might be fading by now.

BUT if the Trij front is still glowin' pretty good and has some life in it, ya, that's a good deal. (Trijicon will do a lamp replacement free or cheap when it does finally fade out.) As a 38, you can be certain it hasn't been beat up, not that an SP101 gets beat up too easily :).

Recommended carry fodder: 158+P lead hollowpoints by Winchester or Remington (aka "LSWC-HP") or the Winchester 130grain +P Supreme.

My concern would be the Trijicons as well but the price is good & sounds like it's in good condition...I'd get it!

Sounds like a deal. At 200 rounds it ain't even broke in yet! You'll like the boot grips too.

That's a great deal,i'ld buy in a minute.i owned a 3" and it's the only 5 shot snubby that would handle cor-bon's old 158gr +P+ load.
