I have recently gotten the evil gun bug.... that itch that must be scratched.... However, I have a deal with my wife that the number of guns in the house (not counting rifles) stays contant (does not go up....) :banghead: .

Here is what I am thinking right now, and you let me know what you think...

I have a Sig P229 (HD) and a Stainless Taurus Ported 2" .357 used as my carry option. I am thinking about turning them both in and getting one of the following options:

Option I:
1 a Sig GSR 1911 for HD, and a Sig 239 as my carry option.

Option II:
HK UPS for HD, and a Sig 232 as my Carry Option.

Option III:
You suggestions????

Please let me know....

Opinions are like a**holes.... Everyone has one.... Lets hear them.

Thank you for your input..

. Obviously, no offense, sir. And I agree, to some extent. The more sigs, the better, for that matter, the more ANYTHING... I'm sure you feel me.

Option #3. Keep your 229 and get a 239 for carry. Or just get a P7 and be done with it!:D

I think you should sit down and explain to the wife that by the time you take a net loss on trading the two original gun and suffer the increased cost of the two new guns that it would be cheaper and more reasonable just to buy one new gun outright. This will increase the size and value of your collection. I found that once your collection exceeds 50 or so the wife usually gets tired of counting and doesn't notice any new additions.

Keep the P229 if nothings wrong with it. Exchange the Taurus for another carry piece like another Sig since you seem to favor them.
