Hope this is the right place to ask this.
My husband & I bought a new handgun, a Steyr m40-a1. This is only the 2nd handgun for us, last one we bought was 20 years ago (been shooting rifles/shotguns). Went to the gun shop and asked for some 40 s&w for some target shooting at the range and they handed us a plastic box of ammo made by Redline Ammo. Said it was remanufactured ammo.
I asked if that was reloaded ammo and if so if that was ok to use since if I recall correctly, so many people post here that they'd think twice before using ammo reloaded by someone else?
We were assured that this is good ammo, etc. We like the owners of this shop, they've been honest and generous with us thus far. We shot 50 rounds with no problems at all. Just wanted to see what those in the know here have to say.
It's Redline Ammo (out of California) 40 S&W 180 gr. JHP
On our next stop at the shop we saw that they had a brand called Blazer 40 S&W also. Never heard of it so we didn't buy any at the time.
I googled Redline and saw that they use to manufacture & sell bullets and now do not but do the ammo instead.
Thanks for any info.
