Opinions on the best Glock G17 Magazines?

All of my range and training magazines are pmags. They get the most use and they get used the hardest and I have yet to have one fail me.

If they do fail me Magpul will replace them free of charge

The reliability of Magpul Glock has improved drastically since they first came out in 2015

I bought forty of them from a customer for $5 each. (PSA had run a Daily Deal "Buy a Glock 19, get 20 Pmags free")
Those first year G19 Magpuls were trash IMO, and I wasn't the only one to have that opinion.
Magpul apparently fixed the problems in later production, but that experience soured me on Magpul Glock mags for serious use.

NIB Glock mags are easily found in the $19-22 range vs $10-13 for Magpul PMags.

Dollar for dollar its had to beat the OEM Glock mags. I do have a couple of the PMags that I have left loaded in my range bag for the last 5 or so years. Use them at the range and reload them up and let them sit. Not an issue with them yet.

One of the issues I have with the PMag's is that they swell if left loaded to the point they are hard to seat. All of them were purchased in 2020. Another issue I have had is them locking the slide back with one round left in the mag.

The Korean KCI mags have worked better than the PMags for me. The KCI and PMag mags get used only at the range while OEM Glock mags are used for EDC.

pmags are light years better and more reliable than Korean mags, which are in fact, junk.

If it’s just the best - Glock. And in comparison to say CZ ($40), good 1911 ($30+), and Sig ($40-50) they are very well priced at $22.

Just stay with OEM mags.

I use Wolff extra power springs when the original gets tired.

I shoot everything from wimpy 115 gr ball to 127 gr +P+ Winchester Ranger ammo through my guns. in my Glocks and Ruger PC 9mm, the OEM magazines have always worked the best for me.

Stay safe.

I've got the 3 OEM glock mags, the rest of my glock mags are Pmags and the KCI mags. The KCI mags are the cheapest, but very close to the OEM mags. I use exclusively KCI mags for IDPA, and have never had a malfunction.

I’ve had fine luck with PMags, but I use OEM almost exclusively. They aren’t very expensive and they’ve always worked for me.

I have seen PMAGs fail. Can't say the same for OEM. That being said, use several in the rotation for practice and have not had one fail on me personally.

I have some magpul, ETS, and KCI mags for range use. But for carry and stocking up on mags I get OEM mags. I like buying used OEM Glock mags when the opportunity arises because they are so reliable I have no reservations using used mags.

One caveat, I do like the magpul 12 round mags for the Glock 26. I usually carry 10 round OEM mags but sometimes I carry the 12 rounder.
