Opinions on the CZ-USA MALLARD??

I was goofing around online looking at some low cost O/Us and saw the CZ. It seems like a nice gun, but internet pictures can only go so far

I would steer clear of this at all costs. The cheaper CZ guns are not to be trusted in my experience. The ONLY thing that is cool about it is double triggers. I believe these are Turkish guns and they are built to a rediculously low price point.

Actually, the Huglu (CZ) guns can be thought of as either the very upper echelon of budget Turkish guns, or perhaps the lowest echelon of nice, non-budget guns, depending on your perspective. That price is indeed ridiculous, as they are usually in the $750 to $1,100 price range new. They must be blowing those out in clearance. I have the Durango and the Grouse (both single trigger guns), and these are very nicely made guns. There are more good reviews than bad out there.
