Opinions please cerakote

My custom 2011 is almost done. I need to decide on a cerakote color but I am being indecisive. It's been over 4 months since he started this pistol so no need to make a hasty decision on color. Thx in advance. The grips will be different than what's in the pic and the barrel is a site tracker so keep I'm mind it will be part of the slide

Does the builder offer anything other than cerakote?

Any of these perhaps?

Personal preference obviously, I prefer gray and colors a gun could possibly be if uncoated. Bright colors look gaudy . reds, orange and green look goofy. FDE is overdone and too tacticool.

I particularly like the silver finish on my Ruger LCP 2. It is called Savage Silver and it is a distributor exclusive model.

I agree on all of that too. Right now I'm leaning with gray for the frame and slide and black for the barrel and components

A female friend's daughter got a light blue gun (robins egg or Tiffany or some such color) because she thought it was pretty . she's about 24, I asked her what kind of gun it was and she had no clue. I asked her what caliber, a long pause and then she said "....9mm?"
When she showed it to me it was a g43. Reasonable enough. A few weeks later we took her to the range, she hated shooting it and I recommended selling it for something she'd use. "No way, this gun is way too pretty to sell, I'll just keep it" . so I asked if she was going to buy something to actually use, nope. Why would she buy another gun, she already has one.
Blue glock... Too pretty... The world's gone mad.

I think I'm gonna go with a darker version of midnight bronze for the slide and frame and a graphite black for the controls, magwell and barrel. Thanks for all the input

I think this is the only coated pistol I have besides black. I like it ok, but would prefer if it were a darker gray.

Love your Shadow2! Shortly after I got mine I handled a CZ a01, Its DA trigger is better than most SA triggers. My SP01 is still my favorite out of all my pistols.

The guy building mine just did 50ae in that candy paint. It is on Armslist under Erie Pa. It looks awesome in person.

I like the look of a dark green-tinted park job. Can cerakote replicate that?
