35 Whelan how are things looking your way? We leave for Northern TX in 2 weeks from today.

We went almost overnight from everyday highs in the 108°-110° and lows in the low 80's to highs in the low 80's and a couple of nights of lows around 52°.

But, temps are set to creep back up to where our highs will be in the mid to high 90's. Still beats 110° though!

bring on the hurricane.... we rebounded pretty fast from Ike. 3.5 million acres have been burned in texas this year.


I don't know how long it will take to recover from this drought. My parents have lost half their oak trees at their place in the hill country.

at the lease, the brush is dying.... plants that never even wilt are turning brown and dying. The deer will be fine, albeit a huge protein bill, but they'll live. The brush.... doesn't look so good.
