Options for building a 300 whisper/fireball

At this point, I am really looking for a barrel chambered in 300 whisper/fireball so I can put an upper together myself. DPMS hasn't sold 300 uppers for a year and model 1 sales either doesn't have them in stock and I'm looking for something a little higher-end. Del-ton's barrels are 1-10 which is a no-go. ar15barrels.com custom builds the barrels, but the price is up there and the wait time is probably long. SSK wants $1100 for a complete upper and $900 for a retrofit (which I think is ridiculous).

Does anyone know of a barrel manufacturer that sells 300 fireball barrels?

I called Model 1 sales, they do have 16" 300 whisper barrels in 1-8 twist, but for the threads I need it would be and extra $50 making it $250 total, which puts me around $600 for a complete upper. Depending on what happens with my suppressor, I may put the project on hold.

What kind of threads does the Model 1 Sales barrel come with, and what kind do you need?

I need 5/8x24, their standard threads are 1/2-38 iirc.

What twist rate is need to stabilize ultra long 240s @ 1,000 fps?

Took me long enough to reply . 1-8 is required for 200gr+ bullets, so basically subsonic loads.
