Hard to watch CNN without throwing up.
The intro voiceover clearly says that carrying concealed to school is legal in the state but the first question the reporter asks is why she wants to.
It's legal for me to mow my grass in Texas, no one has ever asked me why I do it.
She should steer clear of the "why" and just insist that it is her right regardless of the reason.

Her answer was almost as bad; "Yes, I will."
I hope she wins the case.
Can Moran guarantee that some nutjob without a permit won't just walk onto the school grounds or classroom and start shooting? I don't think so.

In CA many of our sports games occur on a campus of a school on weekends (soccer) many angry parents and youngsters are at these at times.
Dogs off leash and bitting kids, angry words in parking lots...I could go on and on. Those locations many times have LEO. Most are not allowed to take their firearm to the location. Some do and could loose their job over it.
So what about that condition? Go to a game, save a life and lose your job.

I think its great that they are at least allowing it in court. I think if someone brought it up here in Illinois, they would be laughed out of the court.

They just spoke about the oregon teacher on the O'Reilly Factor and bill agreed that she should be able to carry because she had her CWP! Go bill! Atleast someone in the mass media is on our side.
