OK.

Take Highway 224 to Estacada and proceed east through on Highway 224. At about 10 miles past Estacada, you'll see a green bridge off to the right. Don't cross but continue for another two miles. You'll see an area off to the left by a high-tension power line tower. You're there.

Let me know if that is enough. It's a nice drive up to "the Dump."
Lots of beautiful territory up there.

Guys,
This sounds great.
I was born and raised in the Gladstone area....but left for greener pastures and ended up in Montana (which is certainly no greener!).
Used to go up to Carver and all up and down the Clackamas. Brings back mem'ries.

Have a great shoot!

Yup, the Clackamas River is a major favorite of mine. Used to go to Carver after work regularly. I'm going to start doing it again, as it's pretty close to town. Love that lower river area between the Carver Bridge and the Willamette. Great driving. McIver is my current favorite park.

I'm sure it's sweet in Montana too??

How do I get from I 205 S bound to Highway 224?

And how far is it from the freeway 205 to the Dump?
Sorry if I may sound to be ignorant! But a lil bit more info will really help me. Thanx

OK from 205, take the Estacada exit and head east. You'll then be on Highway 212. Stick to the right hand lane and watch for the Carver turnoff. When you get into Carver, follow the signs for Estacada and continue up Highway 224 (veering left in Carver and not crossing the bridge over the Clackamas). This will take you straight to Estacada. Then, follow the previous directions. Very easy to find, and you'll see us parked there.

Should be at least six cars there.

I'll see what I can do to be there. I wrung out a few problems with the Norinco M14 and would like to give her a try.

mine seems to have a much thicker barrel then the one pictured though but other than that she is just as purdy

hint- bring some .357mag with you..........non Blazer though as she does not like the aluminum cases

still have another question

HOw far is it from the freeway I205 to the actual DUMP site? How many miles? How long does it actually take? I have to go to work at 4pm. I am kinda in a tight schedule thats why I ask.Thanx.

you will be back by 1600.....no worries

It's about 45mins, an hour on the outside...........head up through Boring to the Clackamas River hwy and then up river to the 'dump'. Or head up 26 through Sandy and take the right off to Estacada, but there is a bit of backtracking that way. Score a map and you will see how easy it is.

205 to the Dump is about 35-40 minutes. Best guess. No idea how many exact miles.

Trust me, you meet us up there at ten and leave at Noon, you'll make it.

I shoot about 8miles from that spot..Was up there today even "16 miles from my house"..But i gotta work Tomorrow..bummer

..There is a huge concert in Estacada tomorrow but i dont think it will slow you down at all getting there...Have fun guys wish i was going there

How was the shootin' today? I'm sorry I missed ya. Stinkin' work.

Glad y'all had a good time. Its been a while since I've been to the dump... im starting to itch. Hell, I haven't fired a gun in almost a month I think I am losing my mind:uhoh:

Next time I will try to get out... have to fix the CETME first. Oh yeah and get a Sunday off.................. can we plan one ahead for those of us Dumpers who are employed under an iron fist? If I beg and plead enough, I can get days off...

Happy Shootin'
