Just ordered an LNL from Natchez and am now trying to find the dies, shell plates etc. As noted elsewhere on the forum midway is out of just about everything, Midsouth and Natchez don't look much better. Where else should I be looking?

I managed to find the .38 and 9mm shell plates but still need the #45 plate

Not having much luck with the hornady 3 die sets for .38, 9mm, and .45 although it now looks like midsouth might have the .38

Wanted the pistol rotor with micro adjust and midway has the rotor but is out of the micro.

Also I'd like to get a better primer flip tray, any suggestions?

Thanks

I had trouble with getting the #45 shell plate too. I ended up buying direct from Hornady and it still took a while. Does anyone else besides Hornady catalog the #45 plate? I didn't think anyone did. Since you may already be ordering the plate from Hornady and are already paying shipping you might as well get the micro adjust from them.

You could also look into another brand of dies. The Hornady dies are nice but not irreplacable. Hornady has their own taper crimp die that works with the LnL. The Lee crimp dies does not and I don't know about other brands of crimp dies.

RCBS makes a square primer flip tray.

Dillon makes a metal one which is a bit more rigid and easier to use. I just use the MTM tray.

You'll be plenty happy without the micro adjust. The pistol rotor works just fine, and has a mark to help keep track of things.

Cabelas.com has the 45 ACP (#1) shellplate.

You will almost always pay more by ordering from Hornady because they agree not to sell below MSRP to protect their dealers.

I think he wants the #45 shellplate (dedicated .45ACP). I think I bought mine from Midway. Just put the "reminder" notice on and you'll get an email when it is in.

I have almost everything needed to load all my caliber on the LNL except the #16 plate (.223), and the 9mm dies and plate (plate in stock at Midway).

Edit to add:
Just found a place that lists almost all the shellplates in stock. They even have some Hornady dies. I've placed an order just to see if the plates are really in stock!

Bosesguns.com

EDIT TO EDIT: Boses is out of all the shellplates I wanted (#16 and #8) but said they would get the #8 end of this week. They don't stock the Hornady 9mm die set.

I use Lee FCD on mine in all the cals. I load on it.

I have been useing the #1 Shell plate. When I got mine the #45 wasn't out yet. I have only had a few out of a few thousand that didn't want to feed right.

If you can't get a #45 go with the #1 it works fine for the most part.
