Can't bear the possibility my foot! In their target location other products generate far more income per square foot than firearms...

That is likely the case. Kroger generated $115 Billion in revenue in 2016. The report I read said total gun and ammo revenue was only $7 million company wide.

That works for me. I'm sure the regulation and hassle (some self-imposed) of ordinary retailers selling guns is also a real PITA. But as I said, why take a shot at gun owners in the process of dropping less profitable products.

There are no Meyer's stores in my area but I do buy groceries at Krogers and WalMart. I don't really care what they sell or don't but if they want to be soldiers in the war on guns, they can easily lose my business to other grocers and in WalMart's case, a lot of other retailers. The left is a fickle bunch and I doubt there is any long term payoff to taking shots at gun owners.

We all make our choices though.

I guess I missed the shot they took at gun owners. Limiting gun sales to 21 and above? Not sure how that is a "shot" at gun owners but to each their own.
