Has anyone loaded with this bullet?
I shoot two 1911s. A full size Remington, and Detonics Combat Master.
I load 5.4 grs of Bullseye under usually, 230 gr FMJ, or JHP Remington bulk Bullets.
I know it depends on the handgun what will load reliably and what type won't.
Has anyone had any feeding problems?
Any leading problems?
This is my practice load. And I'm looking for a cheaper alternative, but I don't want to buy 500 rounds just yet.
Thanks.

I can't help you specifically with the 230gr RN, but I shoot Oregon Trail's Laser Cast 200gr LSWC's and love 'em. Little or no leading, no reliability problems, and very accurate in my Kimber Gold Match.

same as BUMM I have not used that bullet.I have used their 245 grn 38/55 rifle bullet at 1600 fps with no leading.I would think they would work nicely.
I use rainier 230 TMJ in .45 auto mostly because I shoot indoors alot and don't like the smoke.

I have used that bullet along with their 200gr LSWC. No problems with leading, they feed just fine, and they are decently accurate, about the same as factory ball in my gun. I use the 230gr LRN with 5.0gr Bullseye loaded to ~1.26" OAL for my plinking/practice load. It is a factory ball duplication load as far as its ballistics. Keep the OAL to ~1.26-1.27" and it should feed just fine in any .45 autopistol.

One thing to keep in mind is that these loads are quite smokey. It's not a problem when shooting outdoors, but you will really notice it if you shoot at an indoor range.

I shot a few thousand of the Lasercast 230LRN bullet without any leading, but they use a sticky lube which is not smooth going into my Lee seating and crimping dies. I now use Mastercast bullet http://mastercast.net/cast_bullets.htm which use nonsticky lube, cheaper than Lasercast and no leading.
