Organize a shoot in the Hudson Valley of NY

No huge loss Glenn. The reloading class was good, but it was definitely basic. I don't think it would have been worth the long trip for you. For me it was good, but I live about 10 minutes from the store. The level of expertise of the presenter was a nice surprise though. I wrote a little something about it in this separate thread I had to announce it.

Saturnine: That sounds great as far as range locations go .. except that Syracuse is probably going to be out of a reasonable distance for me. There are a good number of THR member's in that area though if I recall correctly. It would be great if you managed to organize something among the locals.

One thing I've noticed, partially from this thread but also just that I've been around here long enough, is that there just aren't many THR members near me here in the lower Hudson Valley. Everybody is either too far North, South, or West (With just a couple exceptions). Unfortunately I find that most of the shooters around here are the 'good 'ol boys' of the local gun clubs, and they generally aren't looking to expand their horizons much.
