I know we all ooh and aah over the various manufacturer's offerings. I have C&B revs from Pietta, Ruger and Uberti. Also one from ASM and Palmetto. I recently was looking at the Pedersoli Remington repro online, and at least the picture looked like it was so much better than the usual Italian makes.

I also understand there is a German made rev repro. Has anybody actually handled and/or fired the German or Pedersoli models? How do they compare?

I'd like to hear your response to another similar thread by Zimmerstutzen titled "Other makers of C&B Rev."
The German manufacturer he's talking about is Feinwerkbau. Both Feinwerkbau and Pedersoli produce a very expensive and very high quality Remington New Model Army (1858 Remington) replica revolvers, used by international match shooters. I have handled examples of each and they are very, very nice pieces. I have never had the pleasure of firing one, however, so I did not respond to his post directly - I have nothing I can really add to the discussion. However, given your request I'll post a copy of this response in his thread.

I think the German maker your looking for might be Hege

I've heard but not seen myself that they make the best 1958 repro, but they also rework Italian revolvers and sell them, sort of like a German version of Cimmaron if you will.

I have a 1968 Hege/ Uberti and a 1969 Hege/ Armi San Paolo that are both crisp and smooth and beautiful.

I have a coupla Euroarms Rogers & Spencers that are pretty nice.

The Centaur 1860 repros are very nice as well/
