The SVT-38 & 40 as well as the PK machine gun come to mind
Winchester 1895 Lever action rifle. More were made in 7.62x54R than any other caliber. Almost all were shipped to Russia and never came back.

Some of the Winchester 1895s went to Spain in the late 30s from the Soviets who were supporting their side of things during the Spanish Civil War.

My dealer had one ,in shootable condition,for $800.00 about two years ago.I couldn't scare up the cash quick enough,and ended up with a pair of Uberti 1890 Remmies instead.

You can find the SVT-40s for a reasonable price now on the surplus market. Great full-size semi-auto battle rifles in the same vein as the M14 and it has a nifty 10 round mag to hold the rimmed cartridges.

the svt's, thats what I was thinking about. but you better check on mag cost and availability, last time I talked to a dude that had one, he said he had to sell gold off, to get a mag.

Check the stocking dealer. I know if we can find it in the People's Republic of Kalifornistan, you can find it in the free state of Texas.
