I am looking for a reasonably priced 12 Ga OU. I have read some of the info from the CZ- ruger comparison. I have seen the new Mossbergs and they appear to look nice , are built the same as most other guns and are priced ok.
Any feedback is welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I checked out a lot of O/U's at the gun store last weekend. My next gun will DEFINITELY be a CZ. The quality was damn near as good as guns costing twice as much.

I don't know what price range your in, but also check out Franchi. I own a new Alcione Field Model and I got it for under $1000. Great gun. Have no problems with it. I like CZ handguns, I don't know much about their OU's, but I'm pretty sure they are made bu Huglu in Turkey. I'm not positive. Also check out DeHaan, Stoeger, Verona, etc.
www.shotgunworld.com has forums for just about every OU manufacturer.

Cz shotguns

All Cz shotguns are made in Turkey by Huglu. CZ is now importing them under their own brand name. Armsco was the former importer untill 2005. I heard they are decent guns for the money, but I have never seen one. Dehaan also sells his own contract Huglus, they are slighty different than CZs and some say better quailty.

Stoegers are imported by Beretta from Brazil. Personally I find them bulky and hard to hold, since I have smaller hands.

Veronas, are made by FAIR in Italy, part of the Rizzini family of gun makers.

Another brand is Fausti Stefano also from Italy. Sold under the Traditions name in the US.
