I said 'our' because my wife helped out on the project.
After moving last year I decided to rebuild my reloading bench. The old one was about 10 years old and had been moved four times so I felt it was time to upgrade.
I used the original 2" solid core door and put a piece of 3/4" waferboard (or whatever it's called) on top letting overhang on the front 1.25". This was critical because the mounting holes on the Dillon 550B straddle the 2X6 underneath. The rear bolts on the Dillon go through the top and door, the front bolts just go through the top and seems very rigid. I finished the top with two coats of polyurethane that gave it a really cool look and mounted it to a base made from 4X4's and 1X4's.
The cabinet is a wardrobe that the previous owners left so I cut it down and mounted it to the top with 1"X1" angle.
The total cost was less than $50 because I had most of the stuff laying around.
Here are some pictures:
The Dillon on the left has not been permanently mounted yet. I am reserving that spot for the MEC's but I placed it there to make sure the cabinet would open and there is plenty of clearance.
