Out of state handgun sale question

I live in Texas and I plan to visit a friend of mine in Florida, who while I am there wants me to teach him how to shoot, and should he like my ruger KP95 I plan to give it to him if I can do so legally...so how do I do so legally?

Can I bring it with me, let him shoot it on the range, and just hand it over? Do I have to take it to a FFL with my friend in tow and have the dealer dig out a 4473 and transfer ownership? Wait till I get home and mail it to said FFL?

This is the simplest legal alternative.

It has to go through an FFL in Florida. The absolute easiest way to do this would be for you to do the transaction in person with the Florida FFL. To ship it from Texas to the Florida FFL would be a pain in the ykw (you know what).
