Outdoor ranges in Las Vegas

Does anyone know of any outdoor ranges in the Vegas area?(preferably ones that don't require membership) I'd love to shoot my Polish Tantal at the indoor ones, but can't because all the ammo is steel core. Any suggestions?

The only ones in Vegas are member-only but Desert Sportsman's is well worth it. I liked shooting there. To the north and south of Vegas are BLM lands designated for shooting. Some full-auto guys go to the southern area quite a bit - meeting them and shooting with them is a lot of fun!

The public range in Boulder City is pretty decent. You can rent your own bay, at 25, 50, or 100 yds. Each bay has a carport so you can at least have some shade. Bring water, lots of it.

i was a guest of a member at desert sportsman, thats one hell of a range

Not any immediate help but the Clark County Shooting Park is under construction in the north part of the valley. Soon there will be more choices for us.
