Not certain of this is in the right place. If it's a dupe thread I'm sorry couldn't find another.
63% of people responding own firearms
52% think gun laws should be less restrictive
74% think it is more important to protect gun ownership
81.5 oppose banning handguns
61% think Gun Control is an important issue
Here is a link but I think you will have to register to take the poll or see any results.

I made no claim to its veracity I said that the results seemed overwhelming. I appreciate sarcasm as much as the next guy but don't read the white part of my statements read the black part.
I was surprised that at a site like politico.com there were so many poll results that favor gun ownership and less restrictive gun laws. I had a completely different impression of the people that responded to polls there.

That poll isn't from politico.com.

Sorry spec on my bi-focals, the site surprised me and the poll results also surprised me. I was shocked they were the way they were.
I now see after cleaning my glasses that it is political.com not politico.com I stand corrected.
The results still seem surprising to me. Are they scientific? I don't know. Are they slanted? I don't know.
I'm saying as they stand, they are surprising.
