A very similar holster is made by Sideguard Holsters and a large savings over the Gaclo one.. You just have to wait a few weeks for them to make it for you.

Those look good but on the checkout page of his site he is quoting 11-12 week lead time. That is quite a wait.

I'm fairly familiar with Galco's line-up, and was aware of their SSS model, but I'll admit I'm stunned at their price.

That price is in Alessi CQC-S ( http://www.alessigunholsters.com/cqc-s-1/ ), Ritchie CQ-QR ( http://www.ritchieholsters.com/catalog/p-100009/close-quarter-quick-release-cq-qr ), which are often available at Brownell's ( http://www.brownells.com ) or Top Gun Supply ( http://www.topgunsupply.com ), and Sparks Axiom ( http://www.miltsparks.com/products-axiom.php ) range. I'll assume all of those are better holsters than the Galco model.

Mitch Rosen has their Express Line Premier http://mitchrosen.com/products/express-line/

If you'd like kydex, there is Aholster http://shop.aholster.com/product.sc...CCA67FEF425220F609.m1plqscsfapp05?productId=3

Check Tagua holsters. I would define them as an economical alternative to the big names like Galco and El Paso. I've had good luck with my Tagua holsters.
