Is the SP101 in .32 magnum the same frame size as the .357 magnum version? I have one in .32 H & R mag. and I've been working on some +p and +p+ versions of this cartridge. I reason that if this frame will handle .357 pressures it should certainly handle a higher-pressure version of the .32 mag. It's a shame that this great little cartridge was originally introduced in the weaker H. & R. revolvers with their 20,000 psi. limit. I'm an experienced handloader of 15 years and have been cautiously investigating this prospect. So far I've had some interesting results, including a 100 gr. j.h.p. at 1350 f.p.s. and, seriously, a 150 gr.,.310 diameter l.f.p. intended for the .30-30 that I've driven to 870 f.p.s., all with no signs of serious pressure problems. Does anyone else have any experience with +p .32 mag. loadings? I would be very interested in any data you may have.
