I have recently noticed something with my P2000 that's actually driven me to the point of being so annoyed with it, I've considered getting rid of the little bugger. But before I even walk down that path, I would like to know from other P2000 owners if they also have a 'rattle' from the area of the magwell when a fully loaded magazine is inserted.
The 'rattle' I speak of is mainly heard when I walk; in other words, when my right foot hits the ground, I can hear the mag making noise as it contacts the inside of the magwell. The magazine itself does not seat securely with no movement like my Sigs and Glocks do. I'm not sure if it's the design of the factory mags with the magwell, but none of them fit extremely tight into the magwell. I also know it's not from the rattle heard from a fully loaded magazine, and it does not do it when I carry the pistol around unloaded with no magazine. However, it's just annoying enough that I've left the pistol home for the last week or so and carried something else.
Any help would be appreciated. I love this gun and I don't want to get rid of it, yet the noise it makes when I carry it is annoying enough for me to consider going to another pistol for EDC.
