P220 or G30sf as a duty gun?

I'd stick with one of the Glock 45 ACPs, based on your current carry. I have a Glock 17 and a P220 (DA/SA) and I like both for different reasons. The fact that the trigger pull is always the same with the Glock might make it a better carry choice, unless the P220 is DAO

Sao p220 rocks! The trigger is that good, and consistent.

But ultimately it is whichever he shoots better.

DA/SA SIGs shoot easier if you think of it as a double action gun that happens to have a nice, short reset. Master the double action and shoot off the reset as you would any Glock.

Short reset? Only if you have the newer SRT (Short Reset Trigger) feature, but even then, it's nothing to brag about.
