P239 magazines

I have a 357 sig P239 and was wondering after I get the 40 cal barrel- can I use the 357 magazines?

Sig Sauer makes separate magazines in .357 and .40 only for the P239, not sure why, but I think it has something to do with the follower.

I believe the .40 mags can be used for both.

If you have the 357SIG mags, they are 357SIG specific due to a restriction in the mag where the case neck reduces. Other than the first round, the .40's wont clear it.
