Has Keltec changed the P32 from its original form to be more like the P3AT?

Looking for some Gel tests of various ammo out of the P32 I ran across a host of reviews on the pistol.

Most looked like my old one, no real rear sight, narrow slide with separate piece for the guide rod to pass through. The there were a number of You Yubes that were labeled as P32 and the reviewers called them that, but the guns looked like P3ATs with a squared slide, an actual rear sight and a solid front to the slide and that funky flat spring behind the ejection port on the right side.

What the Heck, over?

And that 2nd generation is excellent. Got mine used for 100 bucks. Tan 'creators' slide. Works very well. Not one jam with a wide variety of ammo.

No, I'm not a Kel-Tec fan, but I've now seen 3 of them and they all work.

I use mine daily.

Kind of late to the party 2nd Gen been out like above said around 11 years. I have several P32 P-3AT and a PF-9mm. All going strong I think KT no longer repairs the 1st gen . Out of parts.

As far as I can tell the P-32 still has the negligible sights.

I understand it, but I do wish they'd make a version with better sights.

Thanks guys. Man, I guess anytime I saw a gen 2 I decided in my mind it was a P3AT.

In the videos I watched the Gen2 rear sight seems substantially better than the original ain't even there sights. The lack of anything resembling a rear sight was my only real beef with the originals.

I did have one rim lock during the years I have had the gun. I blame me for not checking or reloading the mag improperly.

Do new 7 and ten round mags fit the original guns? Do they have any changes to help prevent rim lock?

I am not sure anything will interchange . They used to sell a rimlock kit No longer do. Say rimlock not a problem Nope isn't if only shoot ball .Ha. I got rimlock on Winchester white box junk . That flat nose crap will fit in my mags that I have fixed for HP only . I have mags for both ways.

The P-32 came first and later on they changed the barrel and mag and stuffed the 380 ACP into the P-32 frame and the P-3AT was born. I own both but prefer the P-32 for several reasons. I shoot the 32 so much I think it's time to send it in to Kel-Tec.
