I am interested in buying a P7 or P7M8. I have read up on the history / specs of the guns, but I can't decide whether to get a P7 or P7M8. Would like your opinion.
I know, the P7M8 is made for US market - has the mag release in the usual location and the heat-shield under/inside the trigger guard.
Is there any other significant difference that's worth paying a higher price for the P7M8? Does the P7 really get hot after shooting few mags? In other words, is the heat-shield essential (or is that CYA)? What's your experience?
Are police trade-ins on P7 always from Germany/Europe?
