I've been looking for an IWB for the P938 and apparently SIG decided to ship the Blade Tech Klipit as their primary holster now. The OWB isn't a bad holster, but having a duty belt sized loop on it meant it wandered around a bit with street wear belts and it also allowed it to tip out more.
I wanted to wear the IWB under the belt to slim down the profile without having to buy even larger pants more prone to fall off a mature physique. We aren't all cops who work out daily and need to.
The holster is molded as a flat, the sight channel is grooved to fold into a clamshell, which is held with a hollow rivet. The clip is inserted thru two loops and has a large hook. That should prevent drawing the holster with most pants, and it engages a belt securely. It doesn't show any more than the OWB version, this is about the smallest 1911 9mm compact on the market.
It has a nice texture, Made in the USA and SIG markings, but overall isn't that much an eyecatcher. The inside extends up the slide enough to cover the safety, which is welcome, and helps shield it from moisture.
Also available for the P238, SIG's site was sold out, so I searched for it by using "SIG X38 IWB" under "images" and found one. Point being, after all the looking at pics, what I describe can barely be seen in the few photos online.
