I'm having a strange problem with my new P95. I've fired about 300 rounds through it and was really impressed with the reliability and especially the accuracy of the pistol. Each trip to the range I clean it well and lube very slightly. I shot it about 75 times this weekend and everything was fine and did the cleaning ritual when I got home. I have my CCl and was going to carry it tonight, and loaded a mag. The mag went in fine but when I tried to chamber a round, the slide would lock open and refused to close until I removed the mag. I tried to push the slide lock down to close the slide but it will not budge either with a mag in place. I had to pull back on the slide slightly to remove it and as soon as the mag cleared, the slide immediately went closed (almost caught my finger!!). Without the mag the slide works fine. I tried my other factory mag, and it did the same thing. I haven't broken the pistol down any further than the manual said to for cleaning. Anybody have any ideas what's going on? Any info/suggestions will be appreciated since I was really liking this pistol a LOT!!

You did pull the ejector back up before you put the slide back on right?

I thought upon inserting a magazine the ejector would be pushed upward? Or is that the P-85?

It should pop up unless it's bent but reading again, it looks like the slide stop is hitting the magazine body. Does it do it with all your mags and is this a Ruger factory mag? Take a look at the slot where the follower shelf comes up on the left side of the mag. Is it bent?
