hey, my parents are moving to israel soon and need a good pistol. not for pocket carry, but for keeping it in the car.
basically they need a gun that will be quick to aim, fast follow up shots, and inflict as much shock and damage as possable, as fast as possable.
personally i think they should get either the walther p99 or jericho. (baby eagle for those who know it by its marketed name)
which do you guys think they should get?
open to other suggestion aswell.
thanks

counts how much money you want to spend

if it was my choice it would be the 941.

personally ive shot both and have a P22...my experience with the P22 is going to swing me torwards the p99 later on

this is off topic but does anybody with the p99 have problems with the finger grooves? it feels like they are too close/small and my ringfiinger and middle finger rub together...more of an annoyance than anything

Wow a topic where I have actually shot both guns that are being discussed. My best shooting buddy has the Jericho and it shoots really well. Which Baby Eagle are they considering? I held a poylmer version recently and didn't care for it. My buddy has the all metal version and it is a little heavy, but the weight helps manage recoil.
Once he modified the way he was holding the pistol and a little bit of practice he can drive nails with it.
The P99 is my gun and I had better groups quicker than he did when we go shoot. My p99 has been 100% reliable no failures at all ever.
My friends Jericho not so much. He has had trouble with stove pipes and failure to fires with his gun. He also has extractor problems since day one with this pistol. It has been in for repairs 2 times and now it works great. I'm a Walther fan so I would go for a P99 in a heartbeat.

P99 is the best polymer semi auto in my opinion - of all time. Actually, I think its the total best 9mm pistol. I shoot mine better than expensive 1911s.
