Pa Gun Show Laws

Does anyone know Pa Gun Show Laws, if a private individual wants to sell a firearms at a gun show, does he need to have affl dealer do a backround check, and if so do you just ask a dealer, does every dealer do this, or is it only certain dealers?

All Federal and State laws apply at gunshows in PA.


To whit:

Handguns may not be transferred except via FFL or @ the Sheriff's ofc, NICS will be run.

Longarms may be transferred directly from one qualified PA resident to another. It's reasonable for folks to _inspect_, but not copy each other's driver's license to assure themselves of the legality of the sale.



Gunshows are no different than your living room.

By "copy", do you mean photostat or writing down pertinent information like name, address and DL#?
