Pacific M scales any good?

I have a chance to buy the Pacific M scales for $20. Any info on the scales would be helpful as all I get is the scale no instructions. It looks like a nice balance beam scale. Is it worth $20 or should I keep looking.

That's a good enough price for a piece of Pacfic gear. I don't remember if that scale is magnetically damped, if it is you have a great deal.

I have that same scale and have zero issues or complaints with it. Easily worth $20.00

Magnetically damped and a good scale.

I have one so old it actually says 'Pacific.'

I got the scale and I must say it's like night and day better than the lee scale that came with my kit. I guess it's an older one as it's all Pacific scale with no other name on it. Grains are notched so no slipping and are on the right side of beams for easy reading. Wow what a difference.

A great price for a great scale. I have one of the old cast iron ones and its light years better than my old RCBS one.
