It wasn't even a dignified end. The site went down for a week at a time several times in the month prior to the end, problems with the server. It was announced that they had a new server, but the problems continued. Then it went down again and never came up. The guy who was running it never said he was taking it down and as far as I know, has not been heard from again. It was ugly.

It sure was an extremely informative site for a long time. I learned more about concealed carry laws there, and other things pertaining to concealed carry than I have anywhere...

handgunlaw.us seems to work well though.
