has anyone dealt with pact directly recently? i have tried to call them 4 times over the last 3 weeks and every time the answering machine says they are closed until monday for a trade show. i need to get a rma for my scale.

Haven't contacted them this week, but I have called them in the past.
Not very friendly folks - very short & to the point on the phone.

First time I spent my scale in, it was 6 months before I got it back.
It worked for about 2 months & died again.
2nd time I had it back in about 3 weeks.

Hope you have better luck with 'em than I did.

the scale was given to me so if it cant be fixed i won't be heartbroken. their website has not been updated since 2006.

As much as I like to buy made in USA products, they sure don't make it easy to keep buying them.
