Paint wearing out on the muzzle / crown of the barrel?

Got a barretta cx4 9mm carbine and noticed that the paint started wearing out on the muzzle / crown end of it.

Is that normal or something to be concerned about?

As long as the crown is still sharp I wouldn't worry.

Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't the CX4 have a chrome lined barrel? Not sure how they treat the crown or when they cut it (before lining or after, before bluing or after). Agreed, nothing to worry about if it doesn't continue down from there.

I think this is what most muzzle brakes are actually for (to hide the finish wear )
