Stencils work for some patterns, others do better with a brush.anyone have a preference for stencils?
For patterns, I use sheets of printer/notebook paper, and just cut random shapes. Cheap and effective.
With Multicam, its better to hold the pattern loosely, or slightly above the gun, so you get a little "over spray", which more mimics the blend you get with Multicams pattern.
Other patterns come out better with sharp edges.
Painting with a brush gives you more definition than you usually get with spray cans.
This was OD Aluma Hyde II as a base, and the "pattern" was done with Testors, using a brush....
This was all Testors......
The AK above was stripped later on, and is the same AK I repainted in Multicam that I posted above in post #20.
