I posted a WTB a few weeks ago on the S&W forum and got two responses from fellow forum members. Both had great guns for reasonable prices. I just couldn't decide which to get, so followed the tried and true logic of "get both".
25-2 1980 from Utah.44. Hardly shot, minimal turn line, dark blue.
25-2 1975 from 1950jcb. Hardly shot, minimal turn line, bright blue.
I have a regular practice of running 200 rounds through all my new guns the day they arrive. It was cold and rainy, but I put at least 225 rounds through each of these guns this afternoon. I had two 100 round boxes of .45auto rim, 200 gr swc with 4.0 clays and three almost full boxes of .45acp, 200 gr swc with Clays and 231 and a slew of moon clips.
Sighted them in on paper at 20 yards, then shot clay birds off the bank at the back of the bay at 35-40 yards. What a hoot.
Probably replacing the grips.
