Pair of singing bird pistols

Here's a pair of singing bird pistols. I don't think Colonial Williamsburg has the money or time to recreate these:

Twenty years ago a single pistol went for $1 million dollars. At $2.3 million and considering that the case is included, it's much cheaper today than it was back then. Remember, the dollar has devalued tremendously since 1990.

at first i thought that it was only a very decorated flintlock, which by itself is cool. but that is the coolest thing my eyes have ever seen. true awesomeness!

WOW !!! Those are masterpieces !!! Not for the average working stiff eeking out a living on a workman's wage.

Some very lucky rich guy is going to end up with those, and when he does, the general public won't see them for another 100 years or more.

Truely rare and amazing !!!
