Pardini GT45, HK P9S in 45ACP, Les Baer Premium II with 1 1/2 inch guarantee at 50 yards, which would you choose for the most accurate 45 ACP, or if none of these, what would be your choice. Would prefer to buy all three but cannot afford it!

The Pardini is a great pistol, but I didn't know anyone was importing them, could you let me know who has them.

Personally I'd go with the Pardini or Baer, but the HK is reputed to be pretty good in the accuracy department.

Lovely looking pistols those Pardinis:

Pardini

This is the U.S. importer if I understand correctly:

Larry's Guns

Look somewhat like a Sphinx. I wonder if they have Tanfoglio roots, or perhaps are somehow derived from the work of the late Martin Tuma?

I would buy a Nighthawk or one of the other better 1911.
The HK P9S is out of production for years and need every 500 or less rounds the plastik buffer replaced.
The Pardini is relative unknown gun and you will have a hard time finding any holsters, parts and so on.
Now think for how little you can pick up anywhere a 1911 magazine!!

If you have the Bucks consider a Les Baer, or a Rock River Arms.
You may have to wait a while for the Rock River, but lots of Bullseye competitors seem to think their guns are the best deal for quality reliability and accuracy.

Browningguy,,,As Greyrider has pointed out Larry's Guns in Maine is the importer. Larry Carter also handles Hammerli and Benelli, I have only bought a couple of magazines for my Sig Trailside from him, but seems to be a good place to do business. Thanks for all your posts, since Larry Leutenegger is I believe retired who do you guys recommend for a custom gun by a Bullseye Gunsmith?

who do you guys recommend for a custom gun by a Bullseye Gunsmith?

There are 4 gunsmiths on staff who are all members of the American Pistolsmiths Guild:

Brownell's, Inc.
200 South Front Street
P.O. Box 24
Montezuma, IA 50171
641-623-5401

No matter where you live in the state, it shouldn't be more than a 3 hour drive. Probably a lot less if you are in the Des Moines area... ;)

Good Luck...

Joe

The Pardini GT-45 and S&W 945PC are the two most accurate 45 ACP pistols I own. Both are totally reliable and superbly accurate.
My Pardini GT-45 has a tendency to sometimes eject empty cases from very light loads (185 gr. LSWC @ 710 fps) right over my head. With loads in the 800 fps range ejection of spent brass is normal.
The S&W 945 uses a single stack 8 round magazine and has a grip configuration similar to a 1911. It is all stainless steel.
The Pardini uses a double stack magazine with 13 or 14 round capacity and has a slanted "Euro style" grip. The pardini has a blackened steel slide and aluminum alloy frame.
You will not be disappointed with either gun - they are remarkable performers.
