Changed out the stock & forend on the Pardner with the Hogue 12" LOP. Sort of a shame. The stock-stock was very high quality and thick. Recoil pad screwed on with machine screws into brass inserts. Thick material. The Hogue is much thinner, recoil pad not as nice and screws on with "drywall" type screws into plastic.
Anyway, here she is. I like to run 'em "nekkid".
Here's an idea of how much the gun was shortened. It's noticeably lighter now too.
This piece was under the original stock. The protrusion on the Hogue was thicker and I had to remove this spacer to let the Hogue slip in flush. MAX or anyone else, will this piece being out hurt anything?
